Terms of Service
Last updated: June 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the InspectionVoice platform, apps, and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a firm, you represent that you are authorized to bind that firm.
2. The Service
InspectionVoice helps inspectors capture voice notes and photos and turns them into draft inspection reports with AI assistance. The Service is a tool to assist qualified professionals; it does not provide engineering, legal, or compliance advice.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are provisioned per firm. You must confirm your email address before access is granted.
4. Subscriptions, trials, billing & cancellation
- New firms begin with a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged the then-current plan price on a recurring (monthly) basis.
- You can cancel anytime from billing settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Taxes may apply. Prices may change with notice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to breach security or tenant isolation, or access data you are not authorized to access.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content you lack rights to, or use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Do not resell, reverse engineer, or overload the Service.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the recordings, photos, plans, and reports you create (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited license to host and process Customer Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your Customer Content.
7. AI output & professional responsibility
Transcripts and report drafts are generated by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions. They are drafts to assist a qualified inspector and must be reviewed and approved by you before any professional or official use. You remain solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and compliance of any inspection report you issue.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by InspectionVoice and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (e.g. hosting, payments, AI, email). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of integrations may be subject to their terms.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSPECTIONVOICE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will make Customer Content available for export for a reasonable period unless prohibited by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless otherwise required by law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
